I strive to strike an amicable resolution of dispute and advice the parties with the sole purpose of nipping the lis in the bud, fixing the dispute and stopping them from getting into the arduous litigation and protracted legal process of courts. Most of my clients, in my modest experience as a lawyer, were families fighting over their coparcenary interests, joint property rights or other domestic disputes, and the approach I undertook served them well. I take strength and inspiration from the indelible words of Gandhiji - "I had learnt to find out the better side of human nature and enter men's hearts. I realised that the true function of a lawyer was to unite parties riven asunder... my practice as a lawyer was occupied in bringing about private compromises of hundreds of cases. I lost nothing thereby, not even money, certainly not my soul."
