I am a practicing Advocate in Delhi and I regularly practice before the Supreme Court of India, the High Court of Delhi and various Tribunals including arbitration. Academically, I hold a Masters degree in International Commercial and Investment Arbitration from Durham University because of which I know the foundational international concepts of arbitration, conciliation and mediation and possess the skill to appreciate them in the context of the existing legal framework of India and the regular updates and amendments brought out. Over the years, I have also appeared as Counsel in pre-mediation exercises as mandated under the Commercial Courts Act, 2015 for commercial disputes and have successfully led to settlements involving vast issues of fact and law between the litigants. I am confident that with my experience as a legal professional, I am able to identify the core mutual interests, deliver effective, pragmatic and mutually beneficial resolution/settlement propositions in consonance with the law and at the same time, uphold the virtues of neutrality, impartiality, independence and integrity. I also endeavour to provide a disclosure to the parties details of any professional engagement pertaining to them and the nature of the service rendered to avoid any conflict of interest.
