I have an experience in getting matters settled between disputing parties. In a majority of cases, parties were able to reach a mutually acceptable resolution. Assuming role of a dispute solver requires me to give a patient hearing to disputing parties this generally results in hearing the parties separately at times especially when both parties cannot sit in the same room then ensuring they are able to bring forth their grievances while sitting across the same table. I also develop an understanding as to the demands of each party. In order to ensure neutrality my priority is not to breach confidence a party has reposed in me and at the same time ensure that they are able to reach a conclusion. To further ensure neutrality I conduct the proceedings in a transparent manner. I do not let the biases which sometimes may arise while conducting a proceeding to affect my ability to conduct the proceedings.Furthermore, I ensure that the either of disputing parties should not perceive me as a biased dispute solver. It's important that I am free from both actual bias or perceived bias. I do tell the disputing parties that they can always seek any clarification if they want rather than holding back any doubts in their mind. This way I ensure that proceedings are conducted in a smooth and neutral manner benefiting both the parties. In other words, my role is to ensure justice and fairness through promoting the interest of all disputing parties.
