Ms. Varuna Bhandari Gugnani is practicing lawyer since 1991. She is one of the first trained mediator of the Supreme Court Mediation Centre.She is a Mediator in Supreme Court Mediation Centre and is also a Trainer with MCPC, Supreme Court. She is also a Mediator at Punjab & Haryana High Court Mediation Centre, Delhi Dispute Resolution Society (DDRS), Government of NCT Delhi, Delhi Mediation Centre, Patiala House.Ms. Bhandari is the Fellow of International Academy of Mediators (IAM) which is organization comprised of the world’s finest mediators. She is also the Life Member of Indian Council of Arbitration and Member of International Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ICADR), and in the Governing Body of Mediators India (MI) and is currently the Vice President of Delhi Chapter, Mediators India (MI).She has participated and contributed to many international conferences including Singapore International Mediation Conferences (SIMC) Asia Pacific International Mediation Summit organized by American Bar Association (ABA); International Academy of Mediators (IAM) Conferences at San Francisco (USA), Baltimore (USA), Vancouver (Canada), Austin (USA), Edinburgh (Scotland), Banff (Canada) and at Scottsdale, Arizona USA) and was the organizing member of Global Pound Conference (GPC) India Series, Chandigarh.The primary aim of her practice of Mediation is to strengthen the social fabric of the society, bring peace and bring down the hostility in the society so that we can deliver ‘justice’ in its true sense.
