I am a lawyer by qualification and currently working as Assistant Registrar, National Company Law Tribunal (Cuttack Bench) on a purely contractual assignment. Prior to this, I have also worked with National Commission for Women and School Education Department, Madhya Pradesh and rendered my effective legal expertise. I have also worked with development sector and certain corporate clients helping them build an effective legal strategy and business development through effective stakeholder consultations and negotiations. I am looking to build my expertise in the area of ADR. I have effective communication and listening skills needed to do the job coupled with adequate professional training. I hold multi-sectoral knowledge and good command over procedural aspects of the mechanism to satisfy disputing parties towards a peaceful resolution. Access to justice holds close to my heart and I am supporting projects that promote ADR. For instance, I prepared the Nari Adalat model while in NCW that promoted alternate grievance redressal in a decentralized and inclusive way. I am also taking up a personal project under guidance of Mr. Sriram Panchu, the acclaimed mediator, to address heavy litigation pendency in school education department, madhya Pradesh. So far, I have not directly acted as a neutral but have assisted as a support for DRMs in both NCW and SED.
