Amrita Sarkar

Amrita is an alumna of National University Juridical Sciences, Kolkata (NUJS), Batch of 2013. She has been passionate about pro bono legal work since law school. She started her career in law as a Law Clerk Cum Research Assistant to Hon'ble Mr. Justice F.M.I. Kalifulla, Supreme Court, India. At present, she is an advocate based out of Delhi with more than 7 years of experience in representing several companies in litigation for civil and commercial matters as well as dispute resolution before various fora, Tribunals, District Courts, High Court and Supreme Court of India. She regularly appears before the Hon’ble NCLT/NCLAT and advises domestic and international clients on insolvency and company law matters, among others. She has vast experience in participating in several negotiations and mediation proceedings and is well equipped to provide amicable solutions to the parties involved.
