Suman Kumar Shrivastava

I am an expert mediator trained by Mediation and Conciliation Project Committee of Supreme Court and Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority (JHALSA) and resolving the cases referred by the Jharkhand High Court as well as the Ranchi Civil Court for the last one and half years. I am a journalist by profession with over 20 years of experience (Editor of a national English newspaper in Ranchi, Jharkhand). During this period I have handled mostly matrimonial and commercial cases with a high success rate. I have been felicitated twice for this feat at a function at JHALSA, first by Justice A K Sikri and then by Justice Madan B Lokur of the Supreme Court. Now, I am venturing into resolving the government cases too. When I judge my self as a mediator, I find that my knack as a journalist for going into root cause of any conflict, remain unbiased and be patient while hearing out the parties, help me a lot to handle the mediation successfully.
