In his rich experience spanning 27 years, Ajay Sinha has worked with, inter-alia, UNICEF and Project SWAJAL of World Bank. His multi-sectoral experience makes him a seasoned development practitioner. His passion and dedication towards WASH sector coupled with his vast and varied grass-root experience make him a coveted and one-of-a-kind expert in this domain. His role as capacity building specialist spreads across entire country and Nepal. He has anchored over 500 capacity building events to create a pool of trained resources so as to bring about sustained behavior change. He has been coordinating Rehabilitation and Resettlement (R&R) activities across the country.Ajay Sinha has also steered the task of sensitizing government stakeholders across levels, including policy makers. He has been a strong votary for creating an enabling environment in States through institutional changes, so as to bring sustainable results. He has conceived, piloted and spearheaded demonstrable projects supported by various development partners. His dream, of ODF country, propels him towards the path of continuous unlearning and re-learning. In the area of sanitation and hygiene - he was and remains - a name to reckon with.
